About The Position

Matrix Plastic Products is a quality-driven custom manufacturer of injection-molded medical device components and assemblies. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED QUALITY INSPECTOR to join our team on 2nd shift (3:45pm - 12:00am.)

Requirements

• 3 Years of plastics-related quality assurance is preferred.
• Reading and understanding blueprints
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiarity with the use of inspection gauges and techniques
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Spreadsheets and Reports
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Creating inspection layouts
• Performing incoming and in-process inspections
• Certifying production to customer specifications using equipment ranging from hand-held instruments and gauges to multi-sensor measuring systems (vision, touch-probe, and laser capable) and 3-D scanning.
