About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations through First Article, in-process, and final inspections. This role ensures all products conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards while supporting production quality objectives. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection decision-making, documentation, and collaboration with production and engineering teams to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Working knowledge of GD&T principles
Proficiency using standard measuring equipment (SME) and layout inspection techniques
Ability to work within an AS9100 quality management system
Experience performing gage R&R studies
Familiarity with calibration systems
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and database tools
Minimum 2 years of inspection and blueprint reading experience in manufacturing
High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may substitute for education)

Nice To Haves

CMM operation or programming experience preferred, not required
Welding Inspector Specialist or Assistant experience/education as applicable

Responsibilities

Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections
Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
Complete inspection documentation accurately and per procedures
Make informed accept/reject decisions based on specifications
Identify, control, and document nonconforming products
Record inspection time and job activity in the ERP system (e.g., JobBoss)
Prioritize inspection workload to support production schedules
Communicate inspection results with manufacturing personnel
Assist with nonconformance resolution and corrective actions
Support organizational quality goals and risk identification
