About The Position

Primary Objective of Position The Quality Inspector performs inspections of units, subassemblies, and components to ensure finished products meet established quality and performance standards. Essential Functions: Inspect purchased parts, subassemblies, and finished products using defined criteria and standard physical, mechanical, and basic electrical measurement methods. Apply industry standards including J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620 . Knowledge in AS9100 or ISO 9001 and industry standards for electronic assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and parts lists. Perform detailed inspections of fine and precise work, requiring close attention to detail and the ability to visually inspect components, with or without reasonable accommodation. Use basic mechanical inspection hand tools and measurement instruments. Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards. Accurately record inspection and test results. Maintain controlled documents, inspection records, and test files in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with the development, revision, and maintenance of inspection SOPs, procedures, protocols, and checklists. Identify quality issues and make initial recommendations for corrective actions to the supervisor. Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of Quality Control experience
  • Working knowledge of measurement instruments and inspection tools.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 40 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections of components.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and reach as required during the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
