The Quality Inspector's role is conducting incoming inspections, final acceptance, and various in-process inspections as needed. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in all Quality Management System (QMS) activities including document change management, records management, training/competency, non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) Support customer source inspections, internal audits, and external regulatory or government audits. Generate and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102. Responsible for DHR reconciliation and other administrative tasks Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement. Distribute inspection results to Quality Leadership for review and analysis Verify material traceability, certifications, shelf-life control, and process documentation for composite materials, resins, and adhesives. Participate in process and policy improvement Participate in special projects as needed Interpret engineering drawings, travelers, and GD&T to validate product compliance. Data collection: Using equipment such as hand measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to collect data for various functions including, but not limited to equipment qualifications, process validations, and first article inspections All other duties as assigned
