Quality Inspector
About The Position
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform inspections on components. Perform source inspections at facilities. Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents. Review inspection records received for compliance. Maintain inspection and measuring equipment. Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. ISO 9000/APIQ1 knowledge preferred. Quality program knowledge preferred. Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) required. Acquire and maintain a level II rating in MT, PT, UT, and Hardness NDE testing (Mag Particle, Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Hardness inspections). Non-destructive examination testing certification level II preferred. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in quality preferred. JOB REQUIREMENTS Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must provide transportation from home to office. Overtime may be required. Requirements
