About The Position

Quality Inspector Location: Etters, PA The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing basic inspection and verification of electronic components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. This entry-level role supports production and quality teams by identifying defects and reporting findings accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and part numbers.
• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assemblies preferred
• Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of electronic components and assemblies for defects such as soldering issues, misalignment, or damage.
• Verify part numbers, labels, and documentation against work orders and bills of materials.
• Use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct simple functional tests using approved test equipment under supervision.
• Record inspection results in quality logs or ERP systems accurately and promptly.
• Tag and segregate non-conforming materials and report to the Quality Manager.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
