Mechanical & Composites - Quality Inspector (Level II - Contract)

SQA Services is hiring immediately in Tallassee, Alabama, for Level II Composites Inspectors. This role is critical to maintaining on-time delivery through accurate, high-throughput in-process and final composite inspection, including MRB verification. This is a full-time 6-month contract role with Airfare, hotel, rental car, and meal reimbursement. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Requirements
- 5+ years inspecting aerospace composite structures (Level II equivalent).
- Mechanical Inspection
- Strong defect recognition and dimensional inspection skills.
- Experience with durometer testing (certification provided if needed).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and write clear inspection reports.
Nice To Haves
- MRB, repair, or rework inspection experience.
- High-volume production inspection background.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, depth gauge, and Shore A durometer inspections on composite panels.
- Verify compliance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Document inspection results in MES or digital quality systems.
- Support MRB verification and maintain a target throughput of 8 panels/day.
