About The Position

Quality Technician Duties for this position include: Monitor part and process quality and support the implementation and sustenance of the corrective and preventative actions and countermeasures. Work closely cross-functionally to ensure consistent high quality. Audit manufacturing lines against approved manufacturing processes, procedures, and requirements Verify and audit incoming, in-process, and outgoing material to CelLink and Customer Quality and Engineering requirements and specifications. Promptly communicate emerging and trending quality issues. Lead and co-ordinate containment, sorting and MRB activities as needed. Support and participate in Quality System Development activities Train operators/inspectors regarding quality, inspection and rework. Support drafting, reviewing various documents such as Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, etc Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High school diploma required (College degree or equivalent preferred but not required)
  • 1 or more years of experience in a Quality Inspection role.
  • Mechanical inspection experience using basic and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc).
  • Familiar with common workplace software (Microsoft Office)
  • Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and new technology.
  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented mind set.
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S
  • Prior start-up experience
