What You’ll Do: Conduct thorough product inspections using work instructions, checklists, and technical drawings. Prioritize tasks based on direction from Operations Supervisors to meet departmental goals. Identify and document non-conforming products. Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Ensure all NCRs are resolved before finalizing inspections. Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, and tools to verify product compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in quality processes and Quality Management Systems (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools (preferred).
  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMM, optical comparators, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across departments.
  • Ability to interpret and apply ISO and Quality System documentation.
  • Quick learning ability with various test and measurement equipment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid math and geometry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
