About The Position

We are a globally established spring manufacturing company that is seeking a reliable individual looking for a career as a quality inspector. They will be required to approve incoming materials and finished products. They will also be required to record and maintain quality results and data.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year worth of related experience in quality and inspection.
• Proficient with a computer.
• Working knowledge of basic measuring equipments such as but not limited to calipers, micrometers, comparator, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally and effectively communicate with management and hourly staff.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Approves or rejects incoming materials based on confirming specifications.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications.
• Documents inspection results and inputting data into quality database.
• Generate NCP (Non Conforming Products) and CAR (Correction Action Report) for non-conforming and/or rejected parts.
• Maintains and calibrates measuring equipment and test fixtures.
• Generates Purchase Orders to suppliers for supplementary finishes such as heat treatment and plating.
• Conduct a First Article Inspection Report.
