About The Position

Local packing house in Fowler and Reedley are now hiring quality inspectors for seasonal opportunities. The position involves ensuring that all products meet customer and product requirements, maintaining cleanliness in work areas and equipment, and performing various testing and monitoring tasks related to product quality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in quality control, preferred
• Lifting/carrying < 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements
• Keep work areas and equipment clean always, taking swabs and testing cleanliness of equipment
• Obtain liquid ingredient samples from bulk containers and perform testing
• Verify product codes and chart recorders
• Perform required testing of products (raw & finished), recording product specifications
• Analyze batch samples and/or liquid ingredients
• Monitor the filler to ensure weights, chart codes, labeling, pasteurizer temps are accurate by performing hourly checks
• Place packing, raw material, batches or finished product on hold

Benefits

• $16.00/hour pay rate
• Overtime as needed
• Monday-Saturday schedule, 6am to 3pm
