About The Position

You will be a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector Specialist for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Quality Assurance team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

  • Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain at least an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Performing detailed inspections of electromechanical parts using calibrated equipment.
  • Documenting inspection results and reporting non‑conformances to the engineering team.
  • Participating in root‑cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintaining inspection records and ensuring traceability for all components.
  • Supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Inspect components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products using low/high‑power microscopes, test equipment, and hand‑held inspection tools.
  • Verify conformance to work instructions, industry standards, and engineering drawings.
  • Enter inspection results accurately into QMS and MRP systems.
  • Partner with engineering to report, detail, and resolve non‑conformances.
  • Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within the quality‑assurance process.
