Job Purpose Conducts quality inspections for particular areas or products to ensure they fulfill given quality standards and workmanship criteria. Monitors and records inconsistencies during quality inspections and recommends necessary changes to improve quality for rejected or defective products or materials. May assist with analyzing reports on rejected or defective products or materials when called upon. What You Will Do at Graco Quality Standards, Root Cause and Continuous Improvement Ensure application of required quality standards and workmanship criteria for in-process/floor inspection product verification and incoming inspection/first article areas. Perform root cause analysis and assists in implementing corrective action for process or product related concerns and performance process analysis. Assist Quality Management in maintaining the quality management system. Manufacturing Support, Analysis and Audits Conduct quality inspections for particular areas or products. Support manufacturing in resolution of day-to-day issues, as needed. Support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality within Graco manufacturing operations. Assist in deployment of quality in new products or processes through use of quality tools and methods. Work in identification of trends for rejected or defective products or materials. Assist in the calibration of gages and equipment necessary to support quality. Gage selection, procurement and gage specification development. Efficiently perform necessary inspection of all quality related equipment to include operation, purchase and possible repair. Capable of training others on GD&T concepts and principles used in general manufacturing of our products. Follow established practices and procedures in the performance of normal job functions. Project Documentation and Reporting Document any inconsistencies observed during quality inspections for product or material verification. Conduct first article audits, including creation of audits finding reports and working with responsible parties to determine proper resolution. Create internal and supplier related Non-conforming Material Reports (NMR). What You Will Bring to Graco High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of an 18 month machining certification or a completed 2 year technical program in quality or related education or ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification or ASQ Quality Technician Certification. May be considered without above requirements if candidate has 8+ years of experience in manufacturing where they have worked with measurement equipment, have read blue prints, and have participated in process improvements. Must have completed some type of basic math, blue print and measurement course. ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification or ASQ Quality Technician Certification and Graco Quality Checklists must be completed before promotion to the next level (Quality Inspector III). 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment in a machining or quality role with demonstrated ability to produce results. Knowledge of gauging and measurement techniques for in-process product verification, finished products, and incoming raw materials and parts. Demonstrated knowledge of engineering blue print interpretation. Accelerators Ability to interact with internal personnel in a cross-functional environment. Good mechanical aptitude. The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of an 18 month machining certification or a completed 2 year technical program in quality or related education or ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification or ASQ Quality Technician Certification.
