About The Position

Saxon is hiring a Quality Inspector II to ensure products meet all customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of related experience or equivalent training required.
• 1-3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Strong blueprint reading and advanced math skills.
• Proficient with hand inspection tools (calipers, height gauges, scales, etc.).
• Ability to perform inspections across multiple work centers.
• Familiar with industry record-keeping standards and digital inspection tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of autoclaves/ovens a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-house and supplier-produced parts, materials, and tooling.
• Document non-conformities and inspection results accurately.
• Support production and supervisory teams with quality information.
• Verify final inspection kits before shipment.
• Ensure compliance with customer purchase orders and documentation standards.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare audit reports.
• Provide training and assistance to other inspectors.
