The Quality Inspector II is a pivotal role within Prototek Digital Manufacturing, responsible for ensuring that all products meet the stringent quality standards set by the company and its customers. This position involves performing quality inspections on both in-process and final products, utilizing a variety of inspection techniques and equipment. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS 9100, and ISO 13485 standards. The inspector will also be responsible for training and mentoring new and current employees on department operations and procedures, guiding less experienced inspectors, and providing solutions to maintain rigorous quality control procedures. In addition to conducting inspections, the Quality Inspector II will complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and Customer Certification Requirements, assist production teams in adhering to ISO9001 processes, and inspect products received from outside processes to ensure compliance with specifications. The role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication skills to mentor team members and resolve conflicts. The Quality Inspector will also participate in audits and compliance projects as assigned, contributing to the overall quality assurance efforts of the organization.
