Inspectors perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday. Elements of a circuit card assembly include components, solder, adhesive and hardware. Modules include circuit card assemblies, cables/harnesses, solder and hardware. Inspection is in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. The Role: In this Inspector role, you will perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies. You will undergo intense training to become a certified inspector utilizing IPC-A-610 and other criteria to inspect assemblies. You will receive direction on work priorities from your team-lead, daily. You will support and work closely with the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) operations team while inspecting moderate to complex assemblies to ensure compliance to applicable quality specifications and standards.
