About The Position

The position involves performing new and routine inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of standard parts. The role is responsible for receiving, in-process, or final inspections as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 3-6 years in quality inspection role or similar

• Proficient in blue print and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to correctly use inspection tools such as CMM, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, and pin gages, etc.

Responsibilities

• Utilize aptitude in measurement techniques, metrology, and blueprint reading and verify operators are accurately measuring and recording dimensions on IP sheets or other documentation.
• Perform first article and first piece approval for operators.
• Perform inspection duties for in-process and final inspection.
• Complete and review non-conformance documentation.
• Support quality improvement and cost savings initiatives, as required.
• Assist Quality Engineers, as required.
• Assist in other production areas, as needed.
• Perform other quality or document control duties, as assigned.
• Perform part measurement on CMM.
• Other duties as assigned.
