About The Position
Join a fast-paced manufacturing team where quality is everything. This Quality Inspector role supports high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, ensuring precision parts meet customer specifications through detailed inspections and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- 1+ year of quality inspection experience (manufacturing environment)
- Blueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
- Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
Responsibilities
- Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect parts to print using hand tools, CMM, and optical comparators
- Generate inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance
- Support FAI documentation and customer certification requirements
- Route parts through secondary processes and ensure on-time flow to shipping
- Communicate quality issues and status updates with internal teams
- Follow ISO/AS procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
