QC Inspector I - Night Shift Only
About The Position
Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Inspector (Dimensional and NDE) to perform visual and dimensional inspections, conduct Penetrant Testing (PT) on welds. This is a full-time, hourly, on-site position located at 3701 Holmes Road, Houston, TX 77051. Candidates should ensure that they are within a commutable distance to our facility before applying. Safety is a key component to all of our positions and we expect our leaders to uphold the highest safety standards and practices at all times. This role requires a professional level of both written and verbal communication. Warehouse and manufacturing experience is preferred for this position. Candidates must be able to read blueprints in English. Please Note: Position is inspector of ASME pressure welded parts, pipes, and bellows. Familiarity with welding and fabrication of Pressure Vessels preferred.
Requirements
- Experience with PT, UT, RT, MT, PMI.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector.
- General knowledge of AMSE and AWS codes, welding, fabrication and inspection processes.
- Must be able to comprehend technical information, in English, both verbal and written.
- Must have clear verbal and writing skills with fluency for the responsibilities assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a fitter, welder or fabricator helpful.
