Brands supported within the Metals segment include: Alumicor, EFCO, Linetec, and Tubelite. Position Summary Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Check dimensions against blueprint or work order specifications. This role may work in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
- Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
- Ability to follow blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
Responsibilities
- Ability to use basic inspection instruments.
- Ability to read and understand basic product specifications and work instructions.
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed records of testing processes and outcomes.
- Identify and document any non-conformances or deviations from standards.
- Must be cross-trained and able to support all Quality Inspector I roles.
