About The Position

The QC Inspector I role is responsible for performing detailed Final and In-process inspections on products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, including Rec. Inspection when required. This position plays a vital role in identifying defects, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• IPC-610 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)
• J-STD-001 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation.
• Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate inspection equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• IPC-610 knowledgeable or certified
• J-STD-001 knowledgeable or certified
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection on solder, conformal coating, bonding, rework as required.
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
• Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards
• Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
• Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely manner
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency
• Provide flexible support in final inspection, filling in as needed to maintain workflow and ensure consistent quality oversight.
