The Quality Inspector- End of Line is responsible for performing final inspections to ensure the technical and cosmetic quality standards are met. The role may also be involved in carrying out inspections in other critical points in the production line as well. The position assesses the technical and cosmetic preparation of pianos, conducts audits, gathers data and reports on quality issues related to the various departments. The position must have solid piano technical skills in areas such as tuning, voicing, regulation, as well as be well-versed in problem solving and maintain the ability to suggest and implement appropriate corrective actions. He/she must understand the workforce and be able to communicate effectively with all individuals in the organization at all levels. This position may also be involved with the inspection and preparation of pianos for international shipments.
