About The Position
Powell is a manufacturer of switchgear and other electrical equipment. We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our location in Southeast Houston! Four 10s schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:45am-5:15pm. A Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications. They perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections, tests, and audits to identify any defects or deviations from quality requirements. Quality Inspectors use various tools and techniques to measure and evaluate the quality of materials, components, and finished products. They document and report any non-conformities and work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, they may participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
