• Provide detailed in‑process and incoming inspections on flight vehicle composite components, machined parts, and assemblies, using detailed drawings and established processes to verify conformance to manufacturing and design requirements. • Inspect machined parts, composite parts, and assemblies for dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments, templates, jigs, and fixtures. • Visually inspect composite parts and assemblies for voids, porosity, delaminations, and other physical characteristics. • Examine products for compliance with workmanship standards and for proper installation of components, hardware, and wiring. • Document production non‑conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes. • Collaborate with quality engineers to develop inspection requirements and techniques and assist in implementing quality plans. • Review new or modified drawings and/or work instructions for compliance with quality standards and recommend changes as needed. • Assist in evaluating defect data to identify trends and partner with quality engineers to recommend process improvements. • Verify that final inspections and data packages for product shipments are complete.
