About The Position

Triple Canopy is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector/Instructor to support our
Protective Security Officer (PSO) program under a federal government contract.
This role is vital to maintaining high standards in both training and
compliance. The selected candidate will lead instruction for new hires and
incumbent personnel, ensure compliance with Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) and Federal Protective Service (FPS) requirements, and conduct regular
quality control inspections. You will be responsible for the successful
execution of initial and ongoing training programs, maintaining high standards
of operational readiness, professionalism, and situational awareness. This role
also demands punctuality, strong interpersonal conduct, and adherence to
grooming and uniform standards. Travel required.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Possess an active Top-Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring the quality of performance contracts involving personnel
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or government contracting.
• Certified in the National Weapons Detection Training Program.
• Current ARC or AHA First Aid/CPR/AED certificate
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong public speaking and written communication abilities.
• Able to present effectively to large groups, including government clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel 25–50% as needed within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and field instruction to new and existing security personnel.
• Coordinate logistics for training events and maintain effective communication with training venues.
• Ensure training is conducted safely.
• Travel as needed within the assigned region to conduct training and inspections.
• Manage classroom equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve training venue or classroom issues effectively.
• Support development and delivery of remedial training when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain training materials including manuals, handouts, and multimedia tools.
• Utilize varied instructional methods such as lectures, simulations, group discussions, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Evaluate and improve training materials and course content.
• Conduct routine and scheduled quality assurance inspections across assigned sites.
• Perform site inspections and provide written reports.
• Monitor PSO compliance with post orders and contract standards.
• Validate personnel qualifications and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Provide support for validation processes including reviewing protocols and reports.
• Heavy work: Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or machines, firearms and clearing barrels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, often without breaks, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk-up inclines and on uneven terrain. Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract.
• May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather. Subject to high noise levels. Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
• Travel required.
