Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills for communication with production, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours daily.
• Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching.
• Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ongoing analysis and follow up of rejected components, including recommendations for corrective action.
• Assist in corrective action resolution.
• Perform inspections in the Molding area and communicate nonconformance details via email, written reports, etc.
• Use precision tools and perform dimensional inspections using instrumentation, as required.
• Formulate relevant reports of the inspections for Supplier Quality Performance.
• Determine salvageability of defective items, as assigned.
• Must understand and perform all job requirements in compliance with ISO 9001.
