Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech.™ Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Quality Inspector 1st Shift. (Monday - Friday). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for performing sample resistance tests and sample visual inspection of all resistor types.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts sample resistance measurements and visual inspection of all types of resistors in conformance with the applicable test and inspection documents.
• Interprets technical information as necessary.
• Checks coating quality, legibility of print, overall appearance and resistance and value for in process and final Quality Control Verification for adherence to customer specifications.
• Checks production card to see that proper operations have been performed and signed off in correct sequence.
• Uses vernier calipers, micrometers or similar measurement devices to check resistor dimensions.
• Maintains proficiency to inspect products from lines other than the primary assigned line.
• Assists in other areas during the absence of an inspector.
