About The Position

Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process, compiling and evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Provides quality services and support for all missions assigned to manufacturing while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One-year related experience and/or training (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.
• Microsoft Office & SAP experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
• Perform a variety of simple to complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects.
• Provide continuous communication to interested parties regarding any performance issues, inspection findings, or non-conformances.
• Read and follow work instructions and general processes.
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards.
• Comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies.
• Collect and record data.
• Utilize the company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
