We're looking for someone with at least 5 years manufacturing experience working in a quality role along with a strong understanding of quality processes to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting QA Manager in coordinating and managing Skeeter’s Quality Department inspections, activities, processes, projects, reporting, and production line flow.

Requirements

Work overtime as needed – required.
Strong communication skills - required
Ability to lift 20 - 50 lbs. and walk / bend / stand / push / pull / kneel – required.
Ability to work in heat and around fumes, chemicals, dirt and dust – required.
Strong ability to understand the voice of the customer- required.

Nice To Haves

5 years QA experience – preferred.
Understanding of Skeeter’s QA processes – highly preferred.
Working ability of MS Office products – highly preferred

Responsibilities

Manage daily inspector work assignments.
Manage department training, cross training and rotation activity.
Interpret and apply QA standards in all production areas.
Make QA judgement calls in the absence of formal standard – elevate issues when needed.
Assist in creating QA standards.
Create, maintain, and improve QA inspection procedures.
Manage and work QA related projects.
Lead morning team meetings.
Assist in performing defect data analysis; communicate action items based on trends to inspectors.
Assist in completing department paperwork.
Backfill inspectors as required.
Manage department’s 6S program.
Any other duties assigned
