ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented --- Incoming Goods Inspector who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. Quality Incoming Goods Inspector 2nd Shift Your main responsibilities will be:

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and technical expertise.
  • Experience/ability to read product drawings/blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Previous experience with nonconformance and corrective action processes.
  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Customer oriented personality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ISO 9001 standard compliance.
  • Incoming goods inspections.
  • Recording inspections on company server via tablet.
  • Investigation of production/supplier nonconformities and identification of root causes.
  • Initiate Supplier US-S Complaint process with Quality Technicians.
  • Communicate nonconformities to Production/Purchasing Depts.
  • Investigation of inventory/shipping issues.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measuring devices.
  • Work with Service Department when handling non-conforming product that needs repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
