Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 a must. MIL-STD-883, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and current certifications a plus.
  • Experience working with revision controlled drawings and maintaining ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems.
  • Minimum 1 year printed circuit board inspection experience, hybrid microelectronic devices (ribbon bonds), etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers in a team environment and a Class 100,000 cleanroom, as needed.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills and good penmanship (legible quality records).  Some customer interaction.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

  • MIL-STD-883, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and current certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • In-process inspection of solder workmanship on printed circuit board assemblies using a microscope.
  • Communicate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Data collection of inspection log sheets and maintenance of tracking spreadsheet.
  • Provide company personnel technical guidance and use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel as needed.
  • In-process mechanical inspection using MicroHite height gage and/or digital calipers.
  • Other duties as assigned including photography of workmanship.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned
