About The Position

The Quality Improvement Coordinator reports to the Director of Compliance and Clinical Evaluation and provides operational, data integrity, and quality improvement support to Behavioral Health Link’s Mobile Crisis Services. This position is responsible for collecting, validating, monitoring, and reporting data to support compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements established by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). The role focuses on execution, documentation, and coordination of quality improvement activities under established guidelines and supervisory direction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting compliance, quality improvement, data analysis, auditing or related administrative roles.
  • Demonstrative understanding of quality improvement principles is required.
  • Experience with entry-level data analysis is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present ideas and adjust messaging to different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Data Integrity & Mobile Operations Support Collect, review, and validate mobile crisis services operational data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to mobile crisis operations using established tools, templates, and reporting standards.
  • Conduct routine audits of documentation and service data to identify errors, missing information, or compliance gaps and report findings to supervisors.
  • Maintain organized records of audit results, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist mobile services leadership with compiling operational data for internal reviews, contractual reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Compliance & Administrative Support Conduct the records release process by logging, tracking, and maintaining documentation related to records requests and disclosures.
  • Maintain records related to feedback, complaints, and grievances in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist supervisors with documenting responses to complaints and quality concerns.
  • Support policy and procedure updates by reviewing documents for accuracy, formatting, and consistency when revisions are directed by leadership.
  • Conduct performance audits of key mobile crisis indicators.
  • Oversee and maintain documentation related to records release process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the maintenance of accurate audit trails.
  • Collaborate with mobile services supervisors on conducting and maintaining records of the feedback and complaint response process.
  • Review and amend BHL’s standard operating procedures and policies as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Quality Improvement Assist with quality improvement by compiling data, preparing reports, and maintaining tracking tools.
  • Support data entry, chart reviews, and report preparation for quality improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in quality improvement meetings and initiatives as directed.
  • Collaborate with program service management and key stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness, compliance, and service quality.
  • Conduct data analysis and inquiry on behalf of ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of reports and dashboards used to inform strategic planning and quality improvement efforts.
