The position involves working closely with the Director of Quality and other trauma program staff to develop and maintain a comprehensive quality improvement program. This includes educating physicians and staff on trauma-related topics, assisting in identifying and solving quality improvement issues, ensuring compliance with trauma quality improvement initiatives, and preparing necessary reports for regulatory and accrediting agencies. The role also requires evaluating trauma reports to identify opportunities for improvement and maintaining knowledge of data and regulatory requirements relevant to the program. Participation in staff meetings and providing in-service training is also part of the responsibilities.
