About The Position

Quality Improvement Analyst Full-time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, Ca Under the leadership of the Director, Risk Management, the Analyst has responsibility for researching, coordinating, implementing, and following up on activities related to the hospitalwide Risk Management Program. Specific activities encompass collecting and analyzing risk management and patient safety data, analysis of the data and recommendation of programs to mitigate risk and improve patient safety. Works collaboratively with departments to facilitate Corporate and Facility risk reduction strategies and patient safety goals. The position entails data collection, analysis, reporting, educating, and being accountable for related activities. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Office Software.
  • Advanced analytical and statistical skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with multiple and varied database systems.
  • Strong sense of accountability and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Minimum of two-five years' recent experience in a setting that required high level data manipulation and report generation.
  • Working knowledge of quality management.
  • Medical terminology proficient.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse preferred.
