About The Position

The Quality Final Inspector is responsible for performing final and in-process inspections of assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts to ensure full conformance to approved engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements prior to shipment. This role serves as a critical quality gate, ensuring product conformity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with applicable FAA, customer, and internal quality system requirements

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of experience performing final or quality inspection in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working within FAA, AS9100, or equivalent quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and components using visual inspection, measurement tools, and functional testing methods
Conduct functional and operational testing using appropriate electronic and test equipment to verify product performance and compliance to acceptance criteria
Verify product conformity against approved drawings, work instructions, inspection procedures, and acceptance test procedurtes (ATP)
Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances in accordance with established quality procedures
Accurately complete all required inspection records, travelers, inspection reports, and logbooks
Review production and inspection documentation to confirm all required manufacturing, inspection, and testing steps have been properly completed and documented
Ensure inspection records are legible, complete, accurate, and traceable
Prepare products for shipment by verifying completion and accuracy of all required documentation, including inspection and test data
Ensure required approvals and signatures are present prior to release
Forward product and documentation to Shipping in accordance with procedures
Inspect nameplates, labels, or identification markings to the drawings as required to maintain product identification and traceability
