About The Position

Support the facilities quality goals by verifying the current process control standards are being adhered to by operations and leadership. Also verifying that all instrumentation for controlling the process is functioning as intended and communicating when issues are identified. Be a driver for continuous improvement within the facility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays (when necessary)
  • Must be able to work well within a team and manage relationships within the manufacturing environment
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Working knowledge of creating/editing spreadsheets and word documents
  • Willingness to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in a Quality/Process role in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior work experience with manufacturing-control software applications and instrumentation
  • Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience with inspection methods and statistical control techniques
  • Understanding of statistical theory and application

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and interpret part specifications / blueprints
  • Ability to read / interpret / and apply quality system auditing standards
  • Troubleshoot computer and gauging problems in a manufacturing environment
  • Perform process audits to determine adherence to customer requirements and operational work instructions
  • Interpret process capabilities to identify the need for a machine adjustment
  • Work on Continuous Improvement projects as assigned by the Quality Manager
  • Provide proper documentation and organization to ensure good communication with production team
  • Train operations personnel on the proper process control methods of manufacturing
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and developing action plans to correct non-conforming conditions through problem-solving and analyzing data
  • Perform tests/trials above and beyond routine that are assigned
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and a metric scale
