About The Position

CHASI’s Department of Data & Quality oversees all data integrity, quality, and evaluation efforts of the organization across all programmatic areas. The Quality & Evaluation (QE) Coordinator supports the AVP of Quality and Evaluation and the Department of Data & Quality in implementing systems for quality assurance and continuous quality improvement (CQI) across CHASI programs. This role is responsible for administrative tasks within the department, including, but not limited to, the tracking of quality project deliverables, maintaining reporting schedules, and assisting with the rigorous evaluation of program documentation to ensure alignment with agency key performance indicators (KPIs) and funder requirements, with a goal be both “audit ready” and to ensure programs are being implemented with integrity.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: For those without a technical degree, at least 3 years of experience managing data collection or quality assurance for non-profit or government funding sources is required, with at least 1 year of management experience. Directly related technical degree may be considered in lieu of 1 year of experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Comfort and experience with navigating online databases and platforms.
  • Core Skills: Must be an organized self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Must model ethics and integrity. Able to assess the work and development needs of others, as well as overall obstacles, and provide constructive feedback. Able to manage and accept change and pivot as needed to ensure successful growth and address multiple priorities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise reports and other communications.
  • QI Knowledge: Familiarity with Quality Improvement (QI) concepts, such as LEAN or CQI, is highly preferred.
  • Commitment: Deep commitment to serving marginalized populations and understanding of health disparities.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Run, compile, and distribute quantitative and qualitative reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to monitor program CQI activities.
  • Quality Audits: Assist the AVP in conducting semi-annual and ad-hoc reviews of program charts (electronic and paper) to ensure documentation compliance. Provide technical assistance support to programs performing internal chart reviews.
  • Data Review: Use Excel and other data tools to aggregate performance metrics, identify trends, and draft written reports detailing findings for program action.
  • CQI Support: Support the implementation of continuous quality improvement projects directed by the Quality Improvement (QI) Council.
  • Administrative Assistance: Assist in the preparation of materials for program audits and help monitor the progress of corrective action plans.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in agency-wide QI/QA trainings and pursue professional development to stay current on QI philosophy and practices.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with program staff to foster a culture of quality and data integrity grounded in CHASI’s core values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
