About The Position

The Quality Engineering Technician is responsible for managing and continuously improving our product failure/non-conformance, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and complaint handling processes. This position is onsite in our Duncan, SC facility and reports to the Quality Team Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CAPA processes, root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), and complaint handling procedures.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools (e.g., QMS software, Excel, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated experience in customer facing interactions and conflict resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of the following software/systems: Veeva, SAP, Magic, Salesforce.
  • Technical writing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer facing teams to ensure accurate communication with customers regarding complaint status and resolution.
  • Follow-up and verification of CAPAs to ensure no recurrence. Facilitate the closures of these in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams/areas: engineering, quality, manufacturing, customer service.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and participating in audit activities as needed.
  • Oversee the intake, documentation, and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
