Together, we will create a better world through sport. Join us. We are currently seeking a Quality Engineering Student to work part-time at our facility in Sparta, TN. As the Quality Engineering Student, you’ll take ownership of real engineering challenges, including: Process Integration Work with process owners to build an onboarding guide that helps new employees understand how each production step connects and how quality is built into each stage. Collect feedback from operators and supervisors to refine and improve documentation. Maintain job instructions and training assessments in our digital database. Data Analytics & Problem Solving Investigate customer returns to spot patterns, identify root causes, and recommend improvements. Analyze internal scrap trends to help prevent defects before they reach the customer. Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the facility. Quality Metrics & Testing Support color analysis using measurement software and help evaluate color tolerances for apparel products. Perform incoming material tests in the quality lab—such as wash testing, abrasion resistance, and other validation methods. Review or update placement standards and guides for new products and processes. Diagnose quality concerns in both stock and sublimation products and contribute to corrective action solutions. Requirements

  • Current enrolled student in an Engineering discipline and in good standing with the university. Other technical / critical thinking degrees will be considered.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with computer technology. Prior use of Excel, Outlook, and Teams is a plus.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch
  • Creative Thinking and Problem Solving: analyzing information and evaluating results using logic to choose the best solutions.
  • Motivated and Professional: Committed to improving problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well with others and function as a member of a cross functional team
  • Openness to constructive feedback and coaching
