Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Quality Engineering Manager in Atlanta, GA. The job duties include designing and maintaining a master test plan that encompasses test strategy for functional and end-to-end testing, test environments, and automation approach. The role involves defining test models (plans, data, scripts, and expected results) and entry/exit criteria, driving quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or its clients. Responsibilities also include defining, tracking, and publishing test metrics, executing testing efforts by delivering application and component releases, coordinating and executing regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and user acceptance testing. The Quality Engineering Manager will determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts, develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures, lead others on the testing team, and manage process questions and issues. The position requires optimizing processes and methods to deliver quality work, allocating test resources, and guiding on priorities to application tests in a multi-test environment and different testing phases. The role requires independent decision-making that impacts the team through regular consultation with senior management and adherence to strategic direction provided.

  • Execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in utilizing Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies to deliver IT projects.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in managing testing, defects, and user stories using tools, including Quality Center, HP Quick Test Professional, and Jira.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in managing projects, including work plan creation, risk and issue tracking, team management, end-to-end delivery, and status reporting.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in writing SQL queries, querying Oracle Database and creating and running Elasticsearch queries to find test data.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in defining and managing end to end test strategies and approaches, including integrations with external systems.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in performing test automation utilizing Selenium framework.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in utilizing performance and API testing tools, including Apache JMeter, SOAP UI and POSTMAN.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
