We're looking for a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of Apple's consumer-facing creative applications, while driving engineering-led approaches to test automation and performance optimization.As the Quality Engineering Manager with your main charter dedicated to performance u0026 automation, you will lead a team of software engineers developing and scaling performance and automation frameworks for native macOS and iOS applications. This role is highly technical and strategic: you will define testing strategies, establish performance benchmarks, and ensure Apple's creative applications meet world-class standards for responsiveness, stability, and user experience. You will partner closely with development, QA, and product teams, shaping cross-functional approaches to client-side performance and automation, while mentoring and growing a high-performing software engineering team.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a technical lead, QE engineer, or advanced user in creative production environments.
