We’re here to help you move forward and build an impactful career! This role is part of the Quality department and is focused on improving efficiency and product traceability. You will study the quality process, quality controls, and hand-offs between operations to identify improvements within the Department. Through coaching and real-world experience, you will gain direct exposure to understanding the department, applying various techniques, collecting and interpreting structured data, and developing effective reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineering Team, Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, management, and key stakeholders to recommend, data-driven improvements ranging from workflow adjustments to solutions such as database modifications. These contributions will drive meaningful and measurable improvements within Quality. Location: Onsite in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The schedule for this role will be Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student (rising Sophomore through rising Senior) completing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, or Bio-Chemistry.
  • Candidate must have an excellent academic record.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship.
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

  • Help create a database to store SAP part numbers, differentiating between those with expiration dates and those without.
  • Automation data entry of Final Inspection. This will help with integrating the data with Continuous Improvement (CI) data for better insights into quality and yields, allowing for direct traceability of quality issues back to specific work orders.
  • Process review and quality improvement recommendations.
  • Review and analyze existing quality control documents and records.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement.
  • Provide training recommendations for staff on updated protocol.
  • Networking Opportunities with site leadership and functional teams.
  • Potential for field service or sales ride-along.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
