Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Orangeburg, SC site. Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, the Intern will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.

Requirements

• Rising Junior/Senior level students currently pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related major
• Risk Analysis and Statistics coursework helpful
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication and leadership skills (will be speaking with suppliers and interacting with cross-functional teams)
• Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA

• Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards across production, operations, or service processes
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on materials, components, or finished products
• Collect, organize, and analyze quality-related data to identify trends, defects, or improvement opportunities
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
• Help update and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and audit reports
• Provide general support to the Quality team on day-to-day tasks and special projects
