About The Position

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineering Intern at our Fort Walton beach, FL location for the summer of 2026. Description: The Quality Engineering Intern would have the unique experience of interacting directly with senior level quality engineers working directly on problem solving and process improvements. As it relates to the Quality field, they will get exposure to the production of high and low power output power supplies various defense applications. The Quality Engineering Intern will be involved with presenting information, writing reports and process instructions, data mining, developing control plans and KPI's for internal and external customers. In addition, the Quality Engineering Intern will provide support to various functional groups.

Requirements

  • The successful applicant will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience and a technical aptitude
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • SPC and Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T) experience a plus
  • Experience with database manipulation and mining (Excel/Power BI) nice to have
