About The Position

Position Summary Position: Quality Engineering Intern (Summer 2026) Location: Lancaster, PA Major: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Academic Schedule: May to August 2026 (full-time, 40 hours per week) Rate of pay: $25/hour During your ITT internship, you will conduct various engineering projects in one or more of the areas of Mechanical Engineering and/or Quality Engineering. Interns will also have exposure to and learn various aspects of Engineering practices in these areas during the course of a twelve to fifteen week experience. Our ITT interns also participate in our summer Career Readiness programming which provides professional development and networking opportunities that will equip you with the skill sets required to successfully transition from college to career. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related field.
  • Required skills include: Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to approach complex challenges with creativity and logic.
  • Technical Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, test results, and technical documentation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, trends, and best practices relevant to our products and markets.

Responsibilities

  • The intern will support daily business operations to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • This may include investigating nonconforming product from internal or external sources, trending data, planning product disposition, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Role will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, purchasing, planning, engineering, customer service, and suppliers.
