About The Position

Project Intern-Student Co-op POSITION SUMMARY The Project Intern/Student Co-Op is responsible for the safe and timely completion of projects and tasks, as assigned by appropriate reporting department manager. JOB FUNCTIONS and COMPETENCIES Listed below are the essential job competencies/roles and responsibilities for this position. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Procedure Development Develops testing plans & procedures Evaluate new test methods Health & Safety Follows all Health and Safety policies and procedures including wearing appropriate PPE when required and promptly reporting unsafe behaviors or work conditions. Participates in all scheduled safety training. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES Creativity Applies creativity and originality in the work setting, when appropriate. Suggests or applies new ways of addressing ongoing work issues and challenges. Sees possibilities that others have not yet seen, or combines ideas and approaches suggested by others in a unique manner that results in breakthroughs and improvements. Understands when to be creative and when to stick with what exists now. Dependability Makes and fulfills commitments. Must be actively pursuing Bachelor's degree in related field
Requires no prior experience, or less than one year of experience
