About The Position

As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager at Lockheed Martin's Greenville Site Operations, you'll play a critical role in embedding quality throughout the Sustainment and Production life cycles, from contract review to product delivery. Your leadership and expertise will ensure continuous improvement, process optimization, and alignment with strategic goals while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience/combined education in absence of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Advanced understanding of Quality principles/methodologies in Aerospace industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or technical experience in Quality Engineering discipline.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
  • Advanced understanding of AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of RCCA tools/methodologies.
  • Experience with tooling coordinated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quality Engineering activities supporting Sustainment and Production operations at Greenville Site Operations (GSO).
  • Develop and sustain tactical execution plans aligned with Quality and Mission Success (Q&MS) and program strategies.
  • Monitor and report quality health metrics and progress on key initiatives to executive and senior leadership.
  • Apply proven quality sciences methodologies to identify and mitigate risks, reduce variation, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Integrated Corrective Action (ICA) processes, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in collaboration with cross-functional leadership.
  • Work closely with QE Build Area Leads to prioritize tasks, monitor execution, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customer representatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction and alignment with requirements.
