About The Position

You will be the Quality Engineering Aide for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Quality team. Our team is responsible for ensuring that tooling, processes, and automation solutions meet the high‑performance standards required to deliver reliable defense systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineering Aide you will be responsible for supporting tooling maintenance and automation initiatives that keep our production lines running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Conducting thermal surveys on ovens and performing crimp‑pull testing to verify tooling integrity. Certifying harness boards and supporting tooling for all production areas. Assisting automation engineers in installing and validating new inspection tools. Collecting and documenting data to help improve inspection efficiency and accuracy. Collaborating with the quality team to troubleshoot and resolve tooling‑related issues. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a professional environment
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and on their own
  • Effective Communication/Presentation Skills (Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing)
  • Effective EQ Skills (Mindfulness, Team Building, Collaboration)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Circuit Card Assembly and Wire Harness manufacturing, including familiarity with CCA and Wire Harness manufacturing standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC-610/620
  • Knowledge of basic inspection principles
  • Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt Training
  • Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
  • Experience with Automated Process Monitoring and Control
