About The Position
The position involves reviewing engineering and manufacturing information on new and revised design documents, specifications, production, tool, and test equipment drawings, production/tool plans, operation/routing sheets, and storage & shipping methods to ensure that products meet customers' requirements. The role requires initiating and developing quality assurance techniques such as sampling plans and process controls to assure product quality. Additionally, the candidate will review customer contractual requirements and engineering to determine quality requirements, prepare quality and inspection plans, procedures, and instructions, and analyze and update quality documents within the quality system according to applicable specifications and policies. The candidate will also participate in the review and disposition of non-conforming materials, work with vendors and customers to resolve quality problems, and lead continuous improvement activities to reduce costs and enhance productivity. Furthermore, the role includes analyzing inspection records and providing guidance and quality-related training to all employees, as well as performing internal quality system audits and product/process audits per AS9100 and applicable standards.
