The position involves supporting QC inspectors, line operators, and others in performing first-piece, in-process, and receiving inspections. The role includes conducting incoming, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on critical components as needed, managing customer and third-party on-site inspection events, and verifying documentation packages prior to submission to customers or third-party organizations. Additionally, the candidate will facilitate training sessions for team members on quality practices and techniques, serve as a liaison with subcontractors in interpreting specifications and defining quality requirements, and develop quality control plans and processes for a complete range of products, including inspection methods and test plans. Responsibilities also include managing nonconformances, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) as applicable. The candidate will collaborate with design and production teams to review product specifications and processes, oversee calibration and/or maintenance of measuring equipment, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
